10 Takeaways from our 7 Weeks on the Camino
1) The Camino de Santiago is as much an internal journey as an
external one. Whether a village is pleasant and memorable is
very much based on one's mood while there.

2) Walking forces you to focus on only what is in your path today,
and not worry about tomorrow's experiences.

3) Some days are sunny, some rainy and windy, some easy and
some hard. The bottom line is you do the day's walk.

4) This commitment is between you and the Universe. Walk your
Camino your way and don't worry about other peoples' opinions.

5) Don't forget to stop and smell the roses, or in this case
wildflowers. There is subtle beauty all along the way if you look
for it.

6) Let yourself be inspired.  Embrace the centuries-old traditions
of the dedicated pilgrims that have made this journey before you.

7) Challenges bring us together. Look for opportunities to help
others and allow others the chance to help you.

8) As in life, the journey is much more enjoyable if you get rid of
extra baggage.

9) Sometimes the direction the yellow arrows point doesn't make
sense until you follow them. It's only later that you realize the
reason for the "detour."

10) While it’s an amazing feeling to reach your goal after
hundreds of miles of walking, it's the people you meet along the
journey that make the experience so memorable!
